The first session is for me to get to know your child. I will start my assessment to develop a plan that will best support your child. I will also spend time talking with you to get to know your child from your perspective. You have time to ask any questions you have.

Some insurance plans provide coverage for Occupational Therapy. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm the details.

24-hour notice is required prior to the scheduled appointment time. There is a fee for cancellations that occur within 24 hours of the appointment time. If you or your child is unwell and need to cancel an appointment at any time, there is no charge.

Sessions are typically one hour long, but can vary depending on how your child is doing on a particular day.

Formal assessment will take 3 sessions and a support plan will be developed with you afterwards. There is no additional fee for assessment but there is a fee for the documentation if needed. Informal assessment is ongoing as your child progresses and meets their goals. The support will be adjusted based on their current stage of development.

Yes you can. I am an Occupational Therapist registered with the Ontario Autism Program. You can use your OAP funding to pay for your OT services.
